Extraordinary worlds surround them

stumble into a realm built on detriment
where the number one priority is enslavement
A playground?
A coffin?

The construct of garments becomes the ideal
hiding place to a child at the mall
But what lurks beyond the whimsical darkness?

As he crawls deep into the mouth of the beast
tendrils enshroud his body, guzzling his innocence
Perplexed with empathy, he is intrigued

His body, a vessel, now free
Unobstructed from passage between what is tangible
and what lies beneath
